Cyber and Executive Risk Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber and Executive Risk Claims Specialist to join a growing team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and lead the claims function within a dynamic and reputable organization.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee cyber and executive risk claims, including D&O, E&O, EPLI, fiduciary, crime, and transactional risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for claims-related matters, building strong relationships with carriers, law firms, vendors, and agencies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of claims reporting systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance on litigated claims and collaborate with the head of claims on complex cases.
  • Act as a breach coach, guiding clients through cyber events and breach responses.
  • Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and RFP presentations to highlight claims expertise.
  • Build and mentor a growing claims team, laying the foundation for a scalable and efficient claims department.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience handling cyber claims (5-10 years preferred).
    • Experience in a broker, carrier, or law firm setting.
    • Proven relationships with carriers, FBI, law firms, and other key stakeholders in the cyber claims space.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and independent decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
    • Familiarity with AMS360 and Imageright software is a plus.
  • Licenses: Adjuster’s license is a plus but not required.
