Customer Service Specialist
Job Summary
Looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining and supporting the book of business, ensuring seamless client interactions, and addressing day-to-day operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Package
- Hourly Rate: $19 - $29 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for a book of business.
- Assist with client-facing tasks, including eligibility management, benefits guide creation, claims resolution, invoice issues, audits, and billing problem-solving.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Handle day-to-day processes and ensure consistent support for the administration of employee benefits accounts.
- Maintain organized and detailed records while multitasking and pivoting between priorities as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in employee benefits, preferably on the carrier, broker, or independent side.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, including deductibles and carrier processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Soft Skills: Adaptability and a client-focused mindset.
- Preferred: Life & Health (L&H) license is a plus but not required.
