Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a well-established insurance agency. Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a book of middle-market commercial insurance accounts.
  • Actively prospect, network, and cold call to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal Account Managers to ensure seamless servicing of accounts.
  • Conduct client visits and sales presentations as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and maintain a generalist approach to writing commercial insurance across various sectors.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in commercial insurance production, with a focus on middle-market accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AMS360 is a plus, but not required.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
    • Personable and professional demeanor.
    • Comfortable with cold calling and business development.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
    • Resilient and adaptable to different personalities and work styles.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and sales visits.
