Commercial Lines Account Executive
Job Summary
Looking for a highly experienced and strategic Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a boutique-style insurance agency. As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will oversee a small team of account managers and a customer service representative, while playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of commercial department.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of three direct reports, including coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their professional goals.
- Oversee and manage high-value commercial accounts.
- Coordinate with carriers to strategically plan and achieve departmental goals.
- Act as a key player in managing and retaining key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline workflows.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the commercial department through strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; professional designations preferred (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial lines insurance, with a strong background in managing high-value accounts.
- Industry Expertise: Experience with accounts in real estate, hospitality, and construction industries.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, with prior leadership experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software or similar agency management systems.
- Account Management: Demonstrated success in managing accounts.
- Work Ethic: A commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
