Commercial Lines Account Manager

 

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, servicing a diverse book of business, and ensuring clients receive timely and professional support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle accounts from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of commercial lines accounts, including new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, claims, and policy changes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and offering coverage recommendations.
  • Collaborate with producers and colleagues to support client needs and contribute to new business opportunities.
  • Review policies, certificates, and related documentation for accuracy and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulations to ensure clients receive the most appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Assist with claims support and follow-up with carriers as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Several years of experience in commercial lines account management within an agency or brokerage setting.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Completion of 2 years of college coursework or possession of an industry-specific designation is preferred.
  • Prior client service experience preferred.
